True Cause, sönn orsök

Mr Toda once told me: "You can make defeat the cause for future victory. You can also make victory the cause for future defeat". The Buddhism of Nichiren Daishonin is the Buddhism of true cause, the Buddhism of present and the future. We don´t dwell on the past. We are always challenging ourselves from the present toward the future. " The whole future lies ahead of us! We have only just begun. Because we advance with this spirit, we will never be deadlocked. Toda sagði mér eitt sinn: "Þú getur gert ósigur að tilefni fyrir sigrum í framtíðinni. Þú getur líka gert sigur, að orsök fyrir ósigrum í framtíðinni". Búddismi Nichiren Daishonin er Búddismi sannrar orsakar, Búddismi núsins og framtíðar. Við dveljum ekki í fortíðinni. Við erum sífellt að ögra sjálfum okkur í núinu og í átt til framtíðar". Öll framtíðin liggur að fótum okkar. Við erum rétt að byrja. Vegna þess að við erum byrjuð að iðka Búddisma Nichirens, munum við aldrei staðna.

During our dialogue, Dr. Arnold Toynbee at one point told me that his motto was Laboremus, Latin for "let´s get to work!" Nichiren Daishonin´s Buddhism focuses on the present and future; it is infused with the spirit. "Let´s get started!" We practice for the sake of the present and future. It is important no to become trapped in the past; we have to put the past behind us. The Buddhism of true cause is alway based on the present moment; it is always "from this moment on." Í samtali okkar benti Dr. Arnold Toynbee mér eitt sinn á að mottó hans væri laboremus, latína fyrir "byrjum að vinna!" Nichiren Daishonin Búddisminn einblínir á núið og framtíðina; af þessu er andi búddismans uppblásinn. "Förum af stað!" Við iðkum fyrir núið og framtíðina. Það er mikilvægt að falla ekki í gildru fortíðarinnar; við verðum að leggja fortíðina að baki. Búddismi sannrar orsakar snýr alltaf beint að núinu; það er alltaf " út frá augnablikinu"."

Áfram! Alltaf áfram! Það er grunnlögmál Búddismans. Aðferðir Nichiren Daishonins er Búddismi réttrar orsakar. Við lifum með augað á framtíðinni, ekki fortíðinni. Til eilífðra ávinninga, er þetta kjarni lífsins og kjarni þess sem þarf til að vera iðkandi að Búddisma Daishonins.
